IMPORTANT SPLASH PARK SLIDE ANNOUNCEMENT

Over the past year, we have worked diligently to define the scope of repairs and secure a qualified, certified vendor to complete this specialized project. While we had hoped to accomplish the work during the off-season, coordinating the necessary repairs and expertise proved more complex than anticipated.

The good news? The project is now moving forward. While the timing isn’t ideal, we are grateful it is impacting only our weekend-only months and not the height of summer. Our goal, and strong expectation, is to have the slide fully operational prior to the summer season. We will keep the residents updated on the progress via our Thursday E-Blasts and more!

To be candid, we know this announcement feels like disappointing news. From our perspective, however, ensuring the slide is safe, secure, and ready for a full summer of fun turns what could have been our worst-case scenario into an unfortunate manageable delay.

Your safety will always be our top priority.

• The Splash Park Pool will be CLOSED for Slide repairs starting Tuesday, March 24th until completion. We have noted an estimated opening date on the Pool Calendar as Memorial Weekend. Although this is weather and conditons permitting. Stay Tuned!
• The Splash Park Pool will be OPEN for Spring Break as planned, YAY! It will open from Saturday the 14th through Monday the 23rd.
• For your safety, the Splash Park Giant Slide will be CLOSED during Spring Break hours.
• To make sure you can still slide and make a splash, we’ve brought in a premier inflatable water slide… THE TSUNAMI for Spring Break weekend Friday March, 20th through Sunday, March 22nd.

The FIP Community has (2) two pool facilities within the community.  The Amenity Center pool facility is located behind the Amenity Center office building at 2300 Town Center Blvd. This beautiful facility has a Family Pool, Lap Pool and Splash Pad area. The Amenity Center pool facility provides the location for Water Aerobic Classes, Swim Lessons, and pool party rentals.

 

Our additional pool is located at Plantation Splash Park at 1510 Calming Water Drive. Not only can you have fun in the sun, but there is also a 3-story water slide and a Thunder Bucket water feature to keep you cool! We also have a wading pool for the little ones.
